Enhanced Manufacturers

Manufacturers in stock CubeCart are little more than a label on a product. This plugin turns them into browsable brands with their own pages, their own navigation and their own reporting.

Buy a licence in our client area

£40.00 for the first year. It then renews automatically at £20.00 a year, which is 50% less than the initial price. The licence covers a single domain and includes ongoing ticket support and all software updates; if you choose not to renew at the end of the year, the plugin stops working. The price shown on this page is the first year total, and buying is handled in our client area rather than on this demo store.

On the storefront

• A manufacturers box listing brands as links
• A manufacturers dropdown for shops with too many brands for a list
• Both at once if you want, with independent control over which manufacturers appear in each, and a sort order per manufacturer so your important brands sit at the top rather than wherever the alphabet puts them
• A page per manufacturer, with editable brand detail and every product assigned to that brand listed beneath it
• An optional manufacturers entry at the end of the category menu

In the admin

Each manufacturer gains a proper detail screen, and there is a Manufacturer Inventory report listing product ID, name, price, sale price and stock level for every product under that brand. If you buy from distributors and need to know what you are holding by brand before you place an order, that report is the reason to buy this plugin on its own.

Installing it

Four small skin additions unlock the full feature set, covering the brand box in main.php, manufacturer detail on the product page, the category menu entry, and the manufacturer page template. Each is set out with the code to paste on the plugin's Install Guide tab, and all four are already present in Havenswift Hosting skins.
