Havenswift Hosting CubeCart Demo Store

Every plugin listed below is written, sold and supported by Havenswift Hosting. We have been building CubeCart extensions since the V3 days, and each one is kept current with every CubeCart release so that upgrading your store never leaves you stranded on an abandoned add-on. Almost all of them are switched on and doing something on this demo store right now, so you can click around and see the real behaviour before you spend anything.

Navigation, catalogue and merchandising

Vertical Menu - adds a fully configurable vertical category menu to any CubeCart store, with completely separate settings for desktop and for mobile. The standard Foundation skin, and most skins based on it, only offer a horizontal menu, which falls apart once you have a lot of top level categories or a deep sub-category structure. Every colour, font size, border, margin and padding is configurable, including hover states, and a matching set of defaults is shipped for each of our skins and for core Foundation.

Category Product Options - displays selectable product options on the category listing page and lets the product be added to the basket correctly from there, which in standard CubeCart is only possible from the product page itself. You can see it working in the CubeCart Plugins category on this store.

Enhanced Manufacturers - greatly extends the manufacturer functionality in CubeCart. Manufacturers can be shown in a drop down box, in a list box, or in both at once, with complete control over which manufacturers appear in each. Every manufacturer gets its own editable page listing all of the products assigned to it.

Enhanced Sorting - extends the sorting options available to customers on category and search result pages, and gives you control over the order in which products are presented.

Product Image Rollover - associates a second image with a product and swaps to it whenever the mouse hovers over the main product image, which is ideal for clothing where you want a front and a back view. It also adds multiple image upload against a product, and lets you designate the main image, the rollover image and the display order of every additional image.

Wishlist and Giftlist - guest wishlists held in a persistent cookie and merged automatically when the customer logs in, one click AJAX adding with full variation support, multiple named lists, shareable and collaborative gift registries with purchased item tracking, price drop email alerts driven by cron, and reporting in the admin so you can see what people are saving.

Checkout Improvements - a set of practical changes to the checkout, including a configurable "where did you hear about us" question, the ability to hide the shipping dropdown, hide the standard checkout button, and control the coupon code entry.

Site documents and store content

Multiple Homepage Documents - lets you display any number of additional site documents on the homepage alongside the normal designated homepage document, positioned anywhere in the main content area, for example above the main document or below the latest products. Documents can optionally be displayed as an accordion, which lets you carry far more text on the homepage for SEO and for customers without making the page enormously long. This document, and the ones around it, are produced by that plugin.

Multiple Category Documents - assigns up to three additional documents to any category, each with its own optional accordion, so category pages can carry proper editorial content instead of a single short description.

Group Site Documents - lets you choose where each site document link appears: a top bar menu, the footer, a left sidebar or a right sidebar. When documents are shown in the footer they can be split across three separate columns, each with its own heading. A document can appear in more than one position at once, as Contact Us does on this store.

Attached Documents - attach files to customers, to individual orders and to manufacturers, so that datasheets, certificates, proofs and paperwork live with the record they belong to rather than in someone's email.

Store Messages - adds informative messages to your store, so announcements such as delivery cut off dates, holiday closures or free shipping thresholds can be published and withdrawn without touching the skin.

WordPress API to Smarty Interface - pulls content from a WordPress site through the WordPress REST API and turns it into Smarty objects your skin can use, so a blog running alongside the store can feed the store's pages directly.

Running the store day to day

Enhanced Admin Order Entry - improves the manual order entry screens in the admin. A new customer can be created while the order is being taken, and tax and shipping are calculated correctly from the address as it is entered, which makes telephone and trade orders far quicker and much less error prone. This one is not visible on the storefront because all of the work happens in the admin.

Drop Shipping - a full supplier and dropshipping manager. Add and maintain suppliers from a CSV feed or a REST API, import products in one click with SKU upsert, keep inventory in sync in real time, apply dynamic margin pricing, route orders automatically to the supplier and sync tracking numbers back to the customer. Pre-built connections are included for 1on1 Wholesale, BigBuy, Printful, Printify, CJ Dropshipping and AliExpress, plus a custom supplier builder for any other CSV feed or REST API.

Customer Account Number Lookup - lets staff find a customer by account number rather than by username or email address, which matters once you are dealing with trade accounts over the phone.

Duplicate (cc or bcc) CubeCart Emails - gives you proper control over admin email notifications, sending a copy or a blind copy of store emails to any address you choose, so despatch, accounts and the shop owner can each get exactly what they need.

Search engines, speed and infrastructure

Structured Data and SEO Markup - replaces the skin's own schema.org markup with a complete, connected JSON-LD graph covering products, offers, product variants, shipping and returns, and adds the Open Graph product tags that CubeCart leaves out. No skin edits are required.

Google Merchant Centre Feed - builds and maintains a Google Merchant Centre product export feed from your catalogue so that your products can be listed in Google Shopping.

Compress Store Images via TinyPNG API - optimises your JPEG and PNG images automatically through the TinyPNG API, in bulk or as images are added, which is usually the single biggest page speed win available to a shop with a large catalogue.

Cloudflare - control Cloudflare from inside your CubeCart admin using a Cloudflare API token. Purge the cache for the whole site or for individual files, turn on Development Mode while you work, switch on Under Attack mode, and optionally purge a page automatically whenever you save a product, category or document. Advanced screens give access to every zone setting, to DNS records, and to a raw API console, and every failure tells you exactly which token permission is missing.

Adrecord Affiliate Module - affiliate tracking for the Adrecord network, brought up to date for CubeCart V6. This one is free of charge.

Skins and installation

Havenswift Hosting Skin Configuration - supplied free with every one of our skins. It exposes a large range of skin settings in the admin, and it integrates our plugins into the skin for you, so that when you buy and enable a plugin it simply works without you having to edit templates or re-apply those edits after every skin upgrade.
