Multiple Category Documents

Category pages in CubeCart get one short description. This plugin lets you attach up to three full site documents to every category, each in a defined position on the page.

Buy a licence in our client area

£30.00 for the first year. It then renews automatically at £15.00 a year, which is 50% less than the initial price. The licence covers a single domain and includes ongoing ticket support and all software updates; if you choose not to renew at the end of the year, the plugin stops working. The price shown on this page is the first year total, and buying is handled in our client area rather than on this demo store.

Three positions, chosen per category

• Position 1 sits above the category description
• Position 2 sits below the sub-category images and above the product listing
• Position 3 sits below the product listing

Each slot picks any existing site document, so the content is written and edited in the normal CubeCart documents screen and can be reused across categories. Nothing is duplicated into the category record.

Accordions

Each of the three can be displayed as an accordion, and each has its own setting for whether it starts closed. That matters on a category page more than anywhere else in a shop: buying guides, sizing charts, delivery notes and material specifications are exactly the content that helps a page rank and helps a customer decide, and exactly the content nobody wants pushed above the products they came to see.

Skins

Havenswift Hosting skins render the accordions natively. Other Foundation based skins will display the documents; the accordion markup may need a small template addition, which the install guide on the plugin's own admin screen sets out.
